The religious scene shows the Virgin Mary partially in a coffin while assisted by angels. Some Apostles stand in the background. Some traces of paint are visible on the angels wings and Mary's clothing. The Gothic cathedral, whose construction began in 1170, is listed among the Inventory of Swiss Heritage Sites.
