Batalha Monastery built in honor of the famous battle won in 1385 (Batalha de Aljubarrota) by Nuno Alvares Pereira, statue seen on the right, against the Spanish and Portugal regaining independance from the Spanish. Listed as an UNESCO's World Heritage Site.
